European Technology Platform on Food for Life - The vision for 2020 and beyond

The European Commission is facilitating the development of European Technology Platforms (ETPs) to promote innovation in Europe. ETPs will bring together stakeholders in key economic sectors so as to develop a long term vision of the sector, create a strategy for delivery, and put in place the management to ensure maximum impact.


A Core Team, representing industry, academia and pan-European organisations supporting the food chain, has developed a Vision Document under the auspices of CIAA.


CIAA launched the Platform on July 5th 2005. Thereafter the consultation process will continue with the aim of developing a Strategic Research Agenda and an associated Implementation Plan. However, this is our aim and that is why we seek your support and input.
