CIAA Reflection Paper on Food and Drink Industry Competitiveness

Ahead of the Lisbon mid-term review, CIAA published a brochure identifying issues of particular interest of the food and drink industry sector that represent key challenges to ensure its future competitiveness. For Europe to remain an attractive location for continued industry investments, including R&D, certain worrying facts - such as the slowing down of productivity growth and low value added growth - require appropriate and coordinated action to be taken in a number of areas.
